Who knew?

My life is not busy enough.
I have so much time, I decided we needed to add another animal to the mix.
A puppy!
A puppy that needs attention, time and training.
So, here she is in all her curly cuteness.
Meet Pepper.
She is an adorable mini schnauzer. She was the runt of the litter in need of a loving home.
I guess that home would be ours!
And we welcome her with enthusiasm. We are all pretty smitten by her. I particularly am charmed by her willingness to house train so well so far.
Cotton seems taken as well. He has been found sleeping right next to her crate.
So welcome to the family Pepper! We look forward to many walks with you, lots of tug-of-wars, some sweet snuggles, and all the other things a puppy can bring to life.
So I'm a dog person! Who knew?

I certainly didn't know, but then the more I've seen you with Cotton, I could tell. Dogs are really hard to not like. They are truly the most loyal creature on this earth. Ira said it best when he said "dogs on this earth are proof to me that there is a God."

Glad you are so loving to them. They are a great addition to our family, but I will draw the line at 2! ;)

No fair! First Kiersten got Asher, then my folks got a new puppy, now you guys too! I feel so left out. I'm surrounded by puppies that I can't take home with me. Oh well, I'll have my turn soon enough. She looks so cute! Have fun with her!

My husband's parents have a mini-schnauzer and they just love her! They are always telling us how good of a dog she is. If I'm not mistaken, I think his mom even put her up to the phone once and Matt was like "I don't want to talk to your dog mom!" lol.

Went to the new bldg. yesterday. I felt like I was in Utah, being in that brand new building. Weird. Anyway maybe we'll see you at Stake Conference next week.

Cute new dog. How fun. Your kids are lucky to have you as a mom!

At church on Sunday there was an old program in our row and when I looked at it there were cool pictures on the program - a horse and a mountain scene and it was signed R.L. 3/1/09. Do you think that your Rachel drew them and that we were sitting in your same row? If so, how funny, huh?

Tami, that is hilarious, I am pretty sure that was Rachel, because I remember the mountain scene at least.

Seeing your new addition showed our girls what our Schnauzer looked like as a little puppy. How CUTE! Too bad ours is old (13) and deaf but we love him. Maybe some day we will get another. Great breed of dogs! Miss you guys!
