A+ for Funny

I was looking over my daughter's 3rd grade homework last night. The instructions had her use a list of vocabulary words to complete sentences.

Here is the vocabulary list: certain, chores, culture, resources, tutor, uniforms

She filled in all the sentences quite nicely. At the bottom of the page was this prompt:

Write a joke using one of the vocabulary words.

Her joke: Why do some teachers stink?

Answer: Because they're a tutor.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

It is CERTAIN that your family's CULTURE, influenced by available RESOURCES and CHORES has been a TUTOR in excellent humor.

Curses, I was really hoping to fit uniforms in, too but I am out of time and creativity!

Snaps to your little smartie pants! I love the joke!

I always enjoy having Rachel come out and ride. She is very aware of the horses and her horsemanship and she is a very hard worker. And she is always very polite and easy to have around.

What a clever girl. She's very smart and adorable. I have a related comment from my third grader that I have to share. A few weeks ago while playing Trivial Pursuit - Family Edition the children's question was: "In which war was gas first used as a weapon?" My son's response: "World War Toot!" I think we have to get these two together (in a few years). I'll send a picture if you want.
